Warmhearted, Story-telling Paintings
Fascinated by School of Paris, I left for Paris alone
craving for following their footsteps,
which led me to reside there for three and a half years.
During the period, I was inspired a lot and tried many different painting styles.
It was about eight years ago when I began to paint what I saw and heard in a story-telling style,
inspired by an accordionist playing on the bridge near Notre Dame Cathedral at night.
My current theme is ”A Moveable Feast”
from the title of the book by Ernest Hemingway.
I am creating paintings, being greatly attracted to the epigraph on the title page of the book:
 "If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man,
then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you,
for Paris is a movable feast."
I would like to paint warmhearted stories with colorful tunes
from my fragments of memories in the old days in Paris.
